Hi Mark! How are you doing there in heaven? Do you also play basketball with God? Well I hope you do. :)
These are the lines, I wanted to say to him but i know its impossible.
It was February 20. 2011 when I heard the news about Mark.I was curious why some of my classmates were "texting" about R.I.P. of Mark Orth. Suddenly, Mandee told me about it. She told me if I was available in that afternoon so we could visit our friend in St. Therese. After we converse, I open my Facebook then I went into Mark's profile. I was really shocked when I saw the messages given to him by my classmates, schoolmates and other people.
At first, I though it was only a joke but when I read most of the messages then I started to cry. I just couldn't help myself feeling depressed. I hurriedly fix myself and "texted" my friends that my parents allowed me to go.
We were in St. Therese and our hearts were full of emotion when we saw our classmates and when we started to hug each other. It's like there was a big space in our class picture when he left. We went inside the "Blue Room" where his coffin is laid and we saw him in his Ateneo Jersey with his necklace given by her girlfriend, Christa Cheng.
We couldn't help ourselves from crying and as we leave the room , we started reminiscing our memories with him.We started talking about those funny moments when we were still classmates.
Before he died , I dreamed of him.We were strolling around the campus during recess.I woke up and told ask myself" Why was Mark in my dream?, "What does this mean?".
We did not expect him to die because of his attitude, we said that " Hindi madaling mamatay ang masamang damo" but look at him, he's dead and now resting in peace with God and with my two siblings who are now playing with God.We did not expect that he will be the first person to leave our class picture but then we need to accept these facts.
Bye Mark, we will all miss you!
You will always be in our hearts. :)
