Jacqueline Marie Alba Hortillas from Molo City......

                             She was my classmate when we were still in Grade 6 until first year high school, I've got to know her 2nd quarter of the school year but now we are not classmates anymore still we are close to each other. We had  good times especially when the two of us were practicing  as "manggagamot" of last year's play in Caf and so we've got to know each other a lot more better.

                              Every time I am with her, I feel so comfortable not only beacuse we are humble to each other but because we care for each others feelings and so I cannot say any problems or wrong side of her. We are on the processing of  being a friend to each other even we are not classmates anymore but as of this moment I CAN TRULY SAY THAT SHE IS NOT A FRIEND TO ME BUT ALSO A SISTER :)).

                              She's a girl who loves to take pictures of herself and of her friends and a girl who like to pose in different ways.She wants to play drums and loves to sing always.She likes to make people laugh especially when everyone is in pain, she will just open her mouth and words will come out, she also sing nursery songs in a more childish way.:))

In this school year, I may say that we are more close to each other because, we use to go in and out of the school to jam but there are times that each of  us separates for the fact that we don't belong to same section   . Jacque I will offer this saying to you" Your friendship is like the sun coming up each morning,it's something I can count on to warm my world and brighten my life" :)) I love you Jacque! :))

I pray to God that He is giving me true friends to live my life with.

Representing Ma. Jessica Cuello of Sta. Barbara, Iloilo City

A girl who spent the rest of her life studying......I met her when we were in Grade 4, she was my guardian angel and she was the one who toured me around school.She was also the first person whom I talked to.

                        My first impression of her , I thought that she was a nerd and a cheerleader but when I get to know her, then I realized that she is a joyful person but  person especially when it comes to her studies.When we graduated she got fourth honor and was awarded a scholarship.

                         When we were still in Grade four, she was the Vice President of our class, named Grade 4- Trust.She used to be my seatmate but when a quarter passed, we separated and chose to go in our own ways.I though that it was the end of a special friendship with her but right now we are reunited and even we are not classmates anymore still the friendship was made even more stronger.

                            Last year, she was the vice president of Year 1-St.Michael and until now she is the vice president of Year 2-St. Elizabeth. Last year, when we had our Caf play namely Ibong Adarna, she played as Don Pedro.Nothing more to say about her because I'm not in my proper mind right now. :)

Positive Outcome

The day arrived when we had to see the outcome of our works, it was our REPORT CARD DAY. Students were anxious and terrified, but I was just calm because I knew that i did my best for that certain quarter. I did not expect that my grade was to be that high when I compared it to my last year's card.

On that morning when we were getting my card, I was happy to see many students sitting and having conference to some of my teachers.My mom was happy to see my grades high, we were waiting for Tita Maying ,mother of Celine Lacanienta , my close friend from the other section (St.Elizabeth) .

We waited for minutes ...and minutes....and minutes.....My mom said to Tita ,"Sis, ang taas naman pala nang grades nang mga anak natin, manang-mana talaga sa atin...hahahaha(laughing) and then both of them were laughing as if there were no tomorrow.I called Celine to ask if where were she and to confirmed if she's going to eat with us for our celebration, she answered me back saying " Parating nako Au, hintayin nyo na lang ako and so I said go to Emillion in GeneralLuna St; and we'll meet there.

When she arrived, I grabbed her hand softly saying many things about what happened in school. We were waiting for our orders to arrived ,both parties were talking, what I meant to say is that my Mom and Tita were talking about their life while both of us were just mumbling words about school.
The ambiance of that place was just so great to have beautiful experience.As usual , I was taking pictures, all were happy but some were troubled because of their grades.Different emotions were present but HAPPINESS was the most common feeling on that place.On the last minute of that celebration ,we separate ways to have another appointment. :]

Transformation :(

Transformation, will it happen or not?

                                  I have a friend or what you may say a special friend. At first, I thought that she was just like any other normal girls who use to laugh and smile but years after I realized that she changed and transformed into a more vocal and insensitive person.Not to say, she always wants to have the things rule on her way.She may be very sensitive to her own feelings but not to the people around her.

                                  When were still on the same section last year, she use to guard by my friend Celine. She always said "Gusto ko ya gina hambalan kag gina tudluan kay para mabal-an ko kung ano sala ko" but time passes and her attitude became too much _____, I just don't know what the perfect term to say.Now she wants things done in her way and she doesn't care about others feelings, she also doesn't want people to correct her and so her attitude became stronger.

                                  Her name is so popular in school, it is not  because of her studies, but because of her actions and attitude towards people.Many students dislike her, we were telling her to change and live a more better life but she always  choose to be in the other side.

                                 She encountered issues with other year level, but still she doesn't change.If people comfort her , her mind change and think that everyone of us is on her side but the truth is we are just concern for her.she always says that" I should not forgive her because , I don't want to"....and my mind just reacted"Why?Have she done worse things on you that she has no right to be forgiven!?!?!?"My mind just want to explode if I always heard her say that, she feels that she is too perfect !!!!

                       One experience, we are in the middle of discussion when I pinch her softly in the cheeks , she shouted at me as if there was no tomorrow,.my heart slowly bent down .There was also a time that I talked to her and she shouted at me, I cannot explain my feeling but I know that my anger towards her are just overflowing. At first, I don't mind the things that she'd done to me of a reason that she is a new student and I should be patient with her because she needs to cope up with the new environment, but I was wrong, I WAS SURELY WRONG OF MY DECISION AND PERSPECTIVE.

Until now, she is doing the same thing and for the lesson, I am not talking to her even if she is there eating and jamming with us.I am still hoping that she would transform to be a better person.......

Being the only child.....

                                   Being an only child is so hard but it can also be a fun experience.You may be saying that my parents gives me all the things that I've asked them, but all of you are wrong! They only give me the things that I will need for school and for life but they choose to give my allowance so that it will be my source of buying that certain thing.

                                   If I only had to choose , I would want to have a sibling aside from the point that I sometimes feel alone but its because that I do not want to have all the attention and focus of my family especially my parents.They always wants me to have the attitude of  perfection and that's why I'm always doing my best but sometimes the time does not permits me. All my life I had to respect their decisions and I've accepted whether I would have a bad or good feeling and until now nothing changes.

                                  People say "Wow, ang saya naman ng life mo sana ganun rin kami." and I would respond saying"Ah.......". They don't understand what its like to be eyed by everyone and sometimes they would not permit me to do things because I might get hurt and so most of the time i just nod.

                                I am still grateful to God that He gave me such thoughtful, caring and wonderful parents to live my life until everyone of us will proceed to paradise.I may not comfortable sometimes but still I am thankful and blessed to have them....

                                    I prayed to God that He will grant my wish.

Drama of the Month

 Can you guess what I'm talking about????

                                 Yes, maybe, no but I'm sure it would be Definitely Yes!!!!Everyone knows what happened to the Philippines last August 23, 2010 and Police Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza .Media coverages brought us information of  what is happening to Manila majorly in Quirino Grandstand. Philippines was informed that there was a hostage drama in Manila wherein the hostages where not locally Filipinos but Chinese nationalities.We did not expect that the hostage drama was to take place 10 hours because the SWAT team where not trained well.

                                He hostage 25 tourist from Hong Kong to get the attention of the PNP so that they will opened his case because he want to get his job back and the benefits he must have.We were televised on different channels and most especially we were the major topic in the social networking site, Twitter and Facebook, we were also on the front page of different newspaper around the globe.Chinese nationalities cannot explain their anger towards us, Filipinos, and so some employers made it to our fellow Filipinos in their country in a way that they fired them and made the suffer.

                                  I pity on om country especially to my fellow Filipinos because of the embarrassment that brought by Police Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza, he did not think of the consequence of what will happen to his family and tho our nation.For me, he was a calm man at first but when the police officers captured his family and brother, his mind was changed and so it made him hysterical that he shot the some of the hostages.

                      

                                  For the result f the damaged, the Hon Kong government issued the 'black' travel alert for the Philippines. Police Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza and eight hostages died but 9 were injured including the bystander, he also have  XM16E1 rifle and a knife.


Now, we are experiencing the result of the whole drama, our newly elected P-Noy is now in a great disaster of dealing with other nations. The problem was blamed to our President but they are focusing on it right now.

         "I hope that everything will be back to normal." :))

Maria Venus Bayonito Raj

                              Maria Venus Bayonito Raj was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe on March 6, 2010 during the pageant's Grand Coronation Night at the Araneta Coliseum. She was our representative last Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was placed as fourth-runner up.People around the globe commented on her response about the question and answer portion beacuse she said “You know what, sir, in my 22 years of existence, I can say that there's nothing major major problem that I've done in my life because I'm very confident with my family, with the love that they are giving to me. So thank you so much that I'm here. Thank you, thank you so much.” and the question was “What is one big mistake that you’ve made in your life and what did you do to make it right?, this was asked by William Baldwin, a Hollywood star.

                              
                             She was born in Bato, Camarines Sur and was left by her Indian father when she was born, her mother took care of her and made her life as good as possible.She was the youngest among five children and so she was given more time to express herself in the world by joining pageants when she was 17 years old. Her best coach when she was young was her English Teacher. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts, Major in Journalism at Bicol University.She works as an Information Assistant for the DENR and a part-time Fashion Model.

                              She was awarded as Miss Philippines Earth( Eco-Tourism) fourth runner up and at this moment she continues to work and explore her life as  Miss Universe fourth runner-up  until she finishes her contract.

World Peace and Brotherhood

  

Do you think we can attain world peace and brotherhood?

            

                    For me,Yes!, we can achieve world peace if everyone of us will just do ethical and appropriate things that would benefit all of us even if there's still people who likes to withstand one another because of a simple issue.

                    

                      World Peace is attained through the process of love, peace, sincerity, and honesty so we must do our best , we must also do extra sacrifice and effort in order to attain the goal for our world.

Peace was in our hearts.......HAIRCUT :)

Peace is what we want......

You may be wondering why I put peace is what we want with HAIRCUT.......
Its because my new haircut symbolizes the peace and forgiveness that happened last Friday, June 25, 2010.

And so from that experience, we may be confident, and totally free from guilt already.

Last year, PEACE was just around us, but we barely see and entertain it in our hearts because of too much anger, until such person cried when we shared a story with her regarding the seniors around us.:))))

The feeling inside my heart is mixed with LOVE, PEACE, FORGIVENESS and so I can fully say that my LIFE is just wonderful and amazing.:)

Peace is what makes all of us re-unite once again......

Do you also smile?

A smile is a language that everybody understands, it costs nothing but it creates much.

Every time I smile, I feel so calm, happy, and joyful.When I see people smiling, my day is just so complete and no one or nothing can ever ruin it.

Smile can always be connected with peace and forgiveness because peace always begins with a smile and so forgiveness will just follow.

Smile is an everyday exercise for the mouth and teeth and so we must practice and practice to fulfill our goal which is the best smile of our life.

For the tip, always start your day with a smile to get over the bad vibes coming.:))

High School life is the best!

High School life is the best .......

Do you also feel that you want to live your high school life forever?

For me, YES!!!, I want to be a high school girl forever ,I don't want to graduate but I want to work and that's for sure.....I just can't get away with my friends for a long long time because its so hard to let them go.

The friendship that was build is just hard to loose and so every time that I'm with my friends,I just really feel so comfy and loved.

The time that we spent together cannot change what we feel for one another even in bad or good side, so if one of us has mistakes ,we make sure that she knows how to handle that situation and change to be a more better one.

I just really love my high school life because every time I'm in school , I feel really thrilled and excite to every event may happen.

Remember to cherish every single day of your life especially in high school you may want to return back in the past just to experience that most special day of your high school life.:))

Why is it so hard to let you go?

On the afternoon of February 17, 2010 we were walking between Marymart Mall and Amigo Terrace Hotel when my mom saw puppies, suddenly she was amazed and ask the vendor if how much would it be then the owner had a conversation with her.

I was really excited to have fun with Chubs and have different events with him but when he was with us after 4 days, we brought him to the clinic to have a regular check-up with his vet in Rebadulla Clinic, we bought all that he needs to grow well and shirts that would make him more attractive but the next two days came and we need to brought him to the hospital for dogs in Jaro.

I pity him because of his situation that time ,the doctor said he's been dehydrated and so we need to confined him to bring his regular body back.

At first I don't want to leave him but when the vet explained to us that if he's not in a regular position his IV would loose and causing his blood to flow outside of his body and so he will still loose blood.

I was contented that he will be cured because many vets are there to cure protect and save them but it was after a week when we bought him that someone called up and said he's dead already.

The pain in my heart was just so unexplainable that I realized that I did not eat anything for that day, I just can't focus on my thirst and hunger that I just want to cry and cry for the rest of my life;(.....

Proud and happy to say that I have a new dog ,and her name is Cookie!!!!!!:))))

It was July 16 afternoon when I arrived in Atrium to meet with my friends....I was "texting" outside of McD'o when I saw many Assumption students lining up inside the convenient area of McDo, an idea was formed into my mind that I should also buy some food for our Taize but I was the only one to go there so I waited for my other friends to arrive.

At last, my friend Jo and Mandee had arrived and so I can buy food already, but I when we finished all our "merienda", psychologically I was still craving for more so I asked them if could we go inside the grocery area and buy some chips or biscuits.

After 3o minutes of buying our foods, we went directly to McDo and buy food for our dinner. After buying, we were outside of atrium in the overpass and it feels like that we went shopping and feels like we are going to live in school for a month because of too many belongings that we have.

Straightly we went to our classroom and leave all our belongings except for our valuables.I told them we will fetch Celine in the information area but as we were going down by the staircase area, we saw her already.We went with her inside their classroom and proceed to the umbrella.

We were waiting...and waiting but still few people are inside the campus and so we decided to just take pictures. Jacque and I were the photographers and all them were our models, different poses were applied and different reactions were present. We were near the cactus area and Jacque suggested that we will kiss the plant for our pose, Celine and I rejected it at first but as Jacque insisted and so we decided to do it, it was full of laughter, love and excitement.

We were given tags of different colors with shapes drawn in it to signify our group inside the CSS (Centennial Sports Complex). Everyone was afraid that maybe nobody would go with them but as Mr. Secular announced that for each shape with different colors will be in the same group.

Hours had passed and our stomach gives a different sound already.My friend, Jessica, cannot take the pain anymore and her stomach just want to burst....hahahahaha....thank God that our "Manang" in the 3rd year gave her a candy. At last we can eat our dinner already !
We went to the St. Martin's court and eat our our dinner there, we had the most fun evening there, everyone was laughing , some were taking pictures while others concentrate on their food but for us as if there will be no tomorrow because of our smiles and laughs.
We also waited for 12.00 sharp because we will all greet Mommy Bena and so to give excitement, we had a confession outside CSS, priest were already there waiting for the students to confess, I was enlightened and relieved when I finished mine as if I can fly into heaven:).

Yehey...Its 12:00 already, we need to find Mommy Bena, at last we saw her near the ramp of the CSS.We greeted her and kiss her , that's when I realized that its morning already.We had different games and activities but I was too sleepy to join them instead we went to the clinic and borrowed a white flower bottle to brighten us and make feel alive.

We were sitting in the pole area, many people were passing by but still the aura of sleepiness is present.We were given arozzcaldo provided by the school and a loaf of bread to ease our sleepiness , at last we can be with our friends already and so we went to the open court and form a big circle, we were talking and talking about the what happened hours ago and super fun things had happened even our friend, Kim was in a hurry to finish the arrozcaldo and so half of it was dripped in her pants.

3 hours passed......

At last the mass has ended , we can sleep now....that was the most common line on that morning, people were in a hurry to go home but some weren't, they still wanted to go somewhere and spent there time together with there friends.For me this was the most meaningful and memorable evening that I spent in Assumption from the year that I entered until now.
